Requests filled on or before start time. Rolling 12 months. Excludes provider-cancelled bookings and requests made less than 1 hour before start.

Every carer is interviewed and has prior care experience. DBS, Right-to-Work and mandatory training are verified before their first shift.

Carers who returned to the same setting within 3 months, on open-ended assignments. Excludes fixed-period cover and settings with no further eligible shifts.

Confirmed shift hours delivered across all provider partners, cumulative since launch.

Active across more than 60 distinct care settings: care homes, care groups, supported living, children's residential and home care.

Every carer we employ is paid fairly: transparent rates, no hidden fees, paid directly, with pension, holiday and sick pay where applicable.

Why we exist

It began with one family’s experience of care.

We Are Care started in one founder’s family, caring for a relative with dementia. That experience of the system from the inside is what the company was built on.

Our mission is to improve care across the UK, starting with the people who provide it.

Operators, not consultants. A founding team who run care services, employ carers and keep building and improving the platforms behind them.

How we operate

What guides us

Long-term strategic partnerships are how we work best. Short-term engagements are often where those start. The deeper the partnership, the more we can improve daily care together and reshape it structurally over time.
