Section 01
Who we are
This website, wearecare.co.uk (the "site"), is operated by We Are Care Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House number 14772282). When these terms refer to "We Are Care", "we", "us", or "our", they mean We Are Care Limited.
By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. These are the terms for the website only — they don't govern any service we deliver to you, any placement we arrange, or any contract we enter. Those are covered by separate written agreements.
Section 02
What this site is for
This is a marketing and information site. It exists to explain what We Are Care does, who we work with, and how the care workforce system works. It is not a transactional platform. You cannot purchase services here. Submitting a form or booking a call on this site begins a conversation — it doesn't create a contract or binding obligation on either side.
Section 03
What you can do with this site
You're welcome to read, share links to, and refer people to any page on this site. You don't need to ask us to link to us.
What we ask you not to do:
- Reproduce substantial portions of our copy, articles, or methodology papers without our permission. Brief quotation with attribution is fine. Verbatim reproduction of full articles, policy documents, or insight papers is not.
- Use our brand name, wordmark, or logo without written permission.
- Scrape the site for data or use automated tools to extract content at scale.
- Misrepresent our content as your own.
- Do anything that damages, overloads, or interferes with the site.
If you'd like to reproduce something in full — for training materials, research, or commissioning purposes — email us at hello@wearecare.co.uk and ask. We are usually glad to help.
Section 04
Accuracy of content
We aim to keep everything on this site accurate and up to date. Our workforce data, sector statistics, and methodology papers are based on cited sources and our own operational evidence. We maintain a formal methodology document for our headline statistics and revise it when underlying evidence changes.
That said, we can't guarantee that everything is always correct, complete, or current. The care sector moves quickly. If you spot an error or think something needs updating, please tell us at hello@wearecare.co.uk — we'd rather know.
Nothing on this site constitutes professional, legal, regulatory, or financial advice. If you need advice in any of those areas, please consult a qualified professional.
Section 05
Form submissions and enquiries
When you submit a form on this site — a "Register interest" form, a contact enquiry, or similar — you're sharing your details with us so we can respond to you. We will use those details to get in touch about the topic you've raised. We won't add you to unrelated marketing lists without asking.
Submitting a form is not a contract. It doesn't commit you or us to anything. It starts a conversation.
How we handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Section 06
Booking calls
Some pages allow you to book a call with one of our directors via an embedded booking tool. When you use the booking tool, the third-party provider (currently Microsoft Bookings) processes your booking details under its own terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing those terms before booking.
Booking a call is a conversation, not a commitment. Either party can reschedule or cancel.
Section 07
External links
This site links to external websites — professional bodies, partners, government resources, regulatory guidance. We don't control those sites. We're not responsible for their content, their availability, or how they handle your data. A link from us is not an endorsement unless we say it is.
Section 08
Our availability
We aim to keep this site available at all times, but we can't guarantee it. Routine maintenance, hosting issues, or circumstances outside our control may occasionally take it offline. We'll try to minimise disruption, but we make no uptime commitments for a marketing website.
Section 09
Intellectual property
The content on this site — copy, illustrations, data visualisations, design, the We Are Care name and wordmark, and the Baton name and wordmark — belongs to We Are Care Limited unless we say otherwise. Insights articles may credit named authors; the copyright remains with We Are Care Limited unless explicitly stated.
The open-source fonts used on this site are served from our own domain under their respective licences.
Section 10
Our liability
We're not liable for losses resulting from your use of this site, your inability to access it, or your reliance on the content. This includes loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If you're using this site in a professional or business capacity — which most of our users are — these exclusions are standard and proportionate.
Section 11
Your privacy and cookies
We handle personal data carefully. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on what we collect, why, and your rights under UK GDPR and the DPA 2018.
See our Cookie Policy for exactly what cookies this site sets and how to control them.
Section 12
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the version number and effective date at the top of this page will change. If a change materially affects how you can use this site, we'll note it in the change log below. Continuing to use the site after we publish changes means you accept the updated terms.
