Common carer questions

Questions, answered straight.

Usually a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on your documents and any training you still need. We'll tell you exactly what's outstanding and help you work through it.

Not always. Some roles need prior experience, others we can support you into through training. Register and we'll be honest about what fits.

Care assistants, senior carers, support workers and registered nurses, across care homes, supported living, children's residential and home care.

Yes. You choose the shifts that fit your life and pick up more or fewer as you need. We work around you, not the other way round.

Every two weeks, at fair rates shown before you accept a shift. Directly engaged and paid via PAYE, with holiday pay and pension where eligible, and a payslip you can actually read.

If you're new to care or missing required training, we'll guide you through what's needed before placement. Training and progression are a core part of what we're building. Our Workforce Pathways programme is expanding through 2026.

Yes. Real routes into senior carer, team lead and beyond, with training and support along the way rather than empty promises.

We're a social enterprise built around carers: fair pay, real coordinators who know your name, genuine progression, and technology built for you first.

Shifts come to you simply, including via WhatsApp, with the rate and details up front. Accept the ones that work for you.

No. Working with adults at risk is regulated activity, so we place you only once your enhanced DBS, including the adults' barred list check, is complete and verified. There are no exceptions.

We don't offer visa sponsorship. You'll need the right to work in the UK.
