Council budgets and what providers get paid

Councils are heading into budget-setting for 2027 to 2028, with fee uplifts usually decided between February and March. The government has published revenue expenditure and financing figures for 2025 to 2026 and announced a 91 million pound fund to help councils modernise high-cost services. What either means for care fees has not been set out.
