The Casey Commission becomes policy
Baroness Casey's review has moved into delivery. The government is recruiting England's first national dementia tsar, one of the review's recommendations, with applications closing on 8 October, and a public panel has been launched to involve people across England in shaping reform. What powers the new post will have over commissioning, provider standards or inspection has not been set out.
